After the preschoolers tried tracing pictures at the light table, we introduced rubbings to them where they used indented picture sheets and pastels. They put paper over the sheets and tried to recreate the image underneath.
The preschoolers continued to create face art by gluing an assortment of items such as feathers and googly eyes onto paper.
We moved on from using the tweezers to pick up pompoms to trying to pick up items such as paper clips and bottle caps to challenge the preschoolers.
Now that we have a bunch of new tiny items for the light table, the preschoolers have been exploring them on the light to see what they look like.
The preschoolers delved into their chef side as they used play dough to make different snacks using cookie cutters and pastry paper.
We created a mini fire out of paper to tape to the play house for the preschoolers to try and put out. Using the Paw Patrol they managed to extinguish the flames and save the Toy Story characters trapped inside!
We opened up a gas and repair shop outside for the bikes and play car. The preschoolers used the gas pump and tools to help out friends who stopped by for repairs or gas.
The preschoolers continue to try out the different obstacle courses that get set up by other groups, hopping and balancing their way across and around on them.
