Week at a Glance June 20-24,2022

We started are week preparing for our party. Peers traced the word party with paint and then outlined it with puffy glue too. They decorated the sign with stickers as well.

The preschoolers made their own party hats too; practicing cutting on a line, and tracing their name.

They have loved creating unique pictures using tape too!

Filling an dumping with rice and cotton balls was fun! They pretended to make to ice cream cones and used the paper cones to funnel rice through.

We continue to observe and care for our bugs. This week we discovered that potato bugs like the fresh vegetable too!

To extend our interest in experimenting with color and liquids the children got the opportunity to participate in a making a different lava lamp that used vinegar, baking soda, color and oil. They loved the chemical reaction and we look forward to extending this interest further

From pretend baking to making our own playdough, to making our own cupcakes!



Peers loved making the cupcakes, icing them and and then of course eating them!

Our dance party was a blast with balloons, glow sticks, projector flashlights and music and dancing!!

We got the opportunity to use indigenous drums to honor the aboriginal community.


We pretended we were at the beach, played with balloons and showed off our yoga moves on the playground.

Lots of aiming with the water squirters, sprinkler action and popsicles to cool us down!
