The children continue to be enthralled with the worms and snails. They noticed that the ants have made tunnels in their new homes and the baby snails are getting bigger.
We continued to support the children's interest in masks and peers made fabric masks this week.
The chidlren got the opportunity to create spider webs using yarn and glue.
And then spiders to go in their webs. Painting, gluing and cutting were promoted through these experiences.
We support sensory exploration through sand, water and playdough activities.
This week we tried peach tea and then peach and blueberry tea. Some liked the taste while others seem to just like the social situation.
We continue to imitate adult roles in the classroom, strengthening our sense of self.
Peer love using the cash register. Many math skills are being supported through this play.
Light exploration continues with flashlights, finger lights and cds.
Outdoors peers are nurturing their vegetable garden and flowers by water them and taste testing bean and lettuce. We finding new and interesting bugs as well.
