Discoveries!!! Nov 1-5, 2021

Indoors we are supporting the children's sensorial experiences by offering water and sand exploration. This week they chose to add funnels and seemed to be intrigued by the stream of sand produced, while others just used their hands to feel the sand slipping their fingers.

Peers continue to guess what colors will be creating by combining complimentary colors. We know that red and blue makes purple and yellow and blue make green. Awesome!

There ahs been such progress in regards to painting and drawing recognizable pictures. Some friends draw with pencil first and while others show their competency in regard to painting letters.

We continue to practice rinsing our brushes and some peers are setting up their own creative experiences. The tracers are a popular choice and peers are adding their own little details after to make the creating unique just like them!

Preschoolers are mentoring others by helping them write their name and love to practice fine motor sills through beading.



The introduction of magnetic bingo chips has really interested the children this week, some areeven making patterns-cool!

So much team work has been exhibited in many areas of play. Whether they are working on a puzzle building with magnet tiles or blocks, children are working together towards a common goal.

We continue to support the children's want and need to imitate adult roles. This week we offered dish soap and clothes to wash dishes and surfaces. Washing babies is still very popular, and then drying them, clothing them and putting them to bed.

Peers enjoy being doctors and looking at x rays. we finished making our doctors sign by gluing decals and drawing on it.

We continue to be fascinated by the snails and their movements.


Outdoors we have loved group games like see the sleeping bunnies, hide  n go seek and what time is it mr wolf, and are initiating many of these games on their own. Theya re even coming up with their own games and rules.


Every day we build different obstacle courses. Great job using your imagination guys!

Ball in a bucket support accuracy and aim and the language that is supported when watching construction is incredible to hear!
